About the Jaycees
The Alexandria Jaycees Chapter began in 1949. The Jaycees promote individual,
community and management development.
Our Jaycees chapter consists of volunteers at least 18 years of age, with Charter
members between the ages of 18 and 40 and Associate Members 41 and older. If you
are interested in holding a State Office position, you must be a Charter Member.
Family and friends are welcome to attend meetings and activities. Children are
encouraged to help with many of the programs and projects.
Our activities are designed with children in mind, and teach our children as well
as the community not only the importance of volunteering, but how fun and rewarding
it can be!
Men and women working together can make our community a better place to live.
One person, YOU, can make a difference! The Jaycees can provide personal growth
through community service. With more members the possibility for more programs
are unlimited. We need you!
Jaycee dues are only $60.00 annually.
